I have 2008 Scion XB. I bought it new for about $14,000.
My first car was a 1984 Toyota pickup truck that my grandfather gave me when they revoked his license (sorry no pic of that one).

2007 Toyota Corolla

I just got it 2 months ago.  My 2002 Buick Century was broken into and apparently a smashed little backseat window meant to my insurance company that it was totaled.  They still gave me $3500 for it.

Background: Friend of mine has one in splendid condition for € 2000,-
I've driven it last year and it was a blast, plus it's a convertibe which is awesome.
I just don't see myself driving a lame familiy car anywhere soon.
