yeezy season approaching

question: why do people go crazy over kanye's shoes/clothes/stuff that he sells?

i mean, his music is good, but whats so special about those shoes?

yeah, but being famous/belonging in the celeb culture doesnt mean that your shoes/perfume/clothes that you sell are actually good or of any substantial quality...

in short: famous singer=doesnt means that his shoes are worth 400$ and all that praise.
(in most cases)

thats fine and dandy, but...

..what will MY legacy be for?
that is the question!

BTW, slurpee, have you ever considered writing a book?
i would read it, provided that it would have a detailed and witty analysis, like in your forum posts.

chuck taylors are the ugliest shoes ever. if i see a hot girl wearing them she instantly becomes un-hot.

those shoes belong in a museum or a 1950s mens high school gym class.

get that weak shit out of here

and i say: preposterous! :/

your audacious behavior dissapoints me, sir phantomcat of clock!

if slurpee is telling the truth and he wasnt pulling my leg, then i demand to see proof that he is indeed writing a book about the disintegration of modern society through the form of naruto characters, and i want to see it now, posthaste!

good day, sir!

fuck you, fight me. they are timeless, iconic, affordable, functional, and, if need be, nondescript, chameleonically blending into the aesthetic of every trend-setting and seminal musician from the ramones to paul mccartney to nirvana to miley cyrus, to weezy, breezy, jeezy, jay-z and, yes, yeezy, plus every coolest boy in the world from ferris bueller to dr who to scott pilgrim, to lamewads like doug funny and the cast of the big bang theory, google it if you don't believe me. crash bandicoot, hank venture, dwight mccarthy, theodore logan, hiro hamada, tj detweiler, Mary Lou Retton pearson, lucas from mother 3, and marty mcmotherfuckingfly, it is the quintessential shoe, not inextricably associated with any given culture, class, sex, race, medium, or identity. furthermore the simple canvas design allows artists to apply striking graphic imagery

and the flat colors allow even non-artists to easily make rudimentary modular customizations

for simple and identifiable self-expression. the entire concept of modifying your accessories for aesthetic and personal expression- graphic tees, smart phone skins- chuck taylors are the ground floor for that. my fuckin splatoon character wears chucks. they are "shoe" incarnate.

ok, see, A, you don't get to "demand" to see my copywrited material intellectual property and potential livelihood, and #2, "the death of postmodern thought" does not in any way relate or correlate to "the disintegration of modern society" so you are demanding to see something i never promised, which begs the questions of why i would share it if you're entitling yourself to it before even bothering to learn to understand what it is?

postmodern thought, the school of philosophy associated with post-structuralist thinking, and its associated trappings, like self-conscious irony and skepticism, are rapidly falling out of vogue in favor of metamodernism, post-irony, reconstructivism, and new sincerity. this change can be understood through anime. if you want to know how you can feel free to research and speculate, otherwise wait until i get published, and stop being a dick about my cool anime book
