I thought I'd write like a little journal of events about me trying to beat 10/20 mode in FNaF 2. I genuinely think this would be interesting for people who don't even play the series because I just love reading about insane challenges in games and seeing people overcome them.

What is 10/20 (11 MAX) mode?
The game has 11 animatronic characters that will try to kill the player, 10/20 mode or "The Golden Freddy Challenge" as it's called in-game, is when all of the characters are set to their highest difficulty in the custom night. The game works in cycles, or iterations. every 5 seconds a cycle happens. Each animatronic will have a roll. If say, Toy Bonnie is set to 5/20, then there is a 25% chance that Toy Bonnie will move down his path, one room. Now in 10/20 mode, this means that because he is set to 20/20 difficulty, each roll has a 100% chance of having him move. If Toy Bonnie starts on the stage, he will move to Party Room 3, then Party Room 4, then Party Room 2, then Right Air Vent, before reaching the opening, to the right of the player. The final cycle is different as he will only move if the player has their camera up. He will then kill the player, or return to the stage if the player wears the mask upon his entry. this means that he will show up at the office in 20 seconds. This means that because a night is 6 minutes and 48 seconds long, he will show up in the right vent 20 times. And thats one of the longer paths too, characters like Toy Freddy only take 15 seconds. The only thing that can save you is that there is litterally so many characters moving all at the same time that it will clog up the map. Like Toy Chica won't move if Old Bonnie is in the Left Air Vent and Toy Freddy is in the hall. So there being 9 characters can be useful sometimes.

Out of the 11 lads, 7 of them all work the same basically. Mangle, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Toy Freddy, Old Bonnie, Old Chica, and Old Freddy will all crawl into your office, you don't put on the mask in time, you don't live, basically. the other 4 are more interesting though.

Golden Freddy will just appear in your office without a path, so on 10/20 he appears almost everytime you move the camera.

Balloon Boy will crawl from the Game Area to the Left Air Vent, but once he gets in he won't kill you, he'll instead disable the flashlight... which he may aswell just kill you because,

Old Foxy will move from Parts And Service to the hallway, the mask will not work for him. Flash the light at him every cycle or you die.

Then, the battery that makes the whole clock that is FNaF 2 tick, The Marrionete, or "The Puppet". Puppet has no path, they sit at the Prize Counter for the entire game. When on the Prize Counter video feed, you can hold B to "Wind Up Music Box" if the music box ever goes unwound, Puppet will shoot from his box and kill the player. Puppet cannot be customised, but if all the characters are set to 20, the frame of time the player has to wind the box becomes much, much smaller.

I'm going to start by doing 10/5 mode, then 10/10 mode, then 10/20 mode, just to ease myself into it, I'll post about it when I do it.
