I've been flippant but I really spent a lot of time thinking about how the hell to finish this
watched the entire thing a few times taking notes and stuff
went through a l-o-o-o-t of different ideas

not that I'm complaining, but I felt like the bar was set pretty high with the references to eva, planet of the apes, 2001, and the void
I felt like whatever I did had to exceed the expectations set by evoking those
