I have been playing phone chess with a friend in an app called Chess By Post, except there is a little integrated chat feature, so it might as well be named the title of this thread, instead. I figured a thread where multiple games are going on at once, where the two people playing only need to say what their move is and add a lovingly crafted comment at the end (henceforth referred to by the party writing this contract as a "shitpost") and as long as you only pay attention to your games, this will immediately become indecipherable chaos to the uninitiated, which is all I wanted.

RULES:
     • Rules are lame and for losers, no rules

WHAT I'D LIKE TO SEE IN THIS THREAD:
a single format would help keep things easier. For instance,
Quoteknight to c6. Good luck, have fun!
or
Quoteb7 to c6. Fuck you.

Playing in multiple games?
Quote@PhantomCat: b7 to c6. Good luck idiot you're gonna need it i am a knight masta.
@StrawberryClock: f8 to c5. Say goodbye to your queen, dumbass.

I would appreciate it if any analysis or helpful graphics of board states would be in a different thread but thirty-minute arguments over PAWNS CAN'T DO THAT when you learn what en passant is the hard way can stay here, so this thread can be optimal chaos, thank you.

To help, A1 is the bottom left and white starts at the bottom. Shouldn't be too hard to find a pic with h8 at the bottom left to accommodate players in black.

I believe that should cover everything. Accepting all challenges. Note: please be worse than me at chess, thank you.

the shitpost: i barely know how chess works, will be completely unable to keep track of any moves after this one, and i wish i had more to offer because correspondence games are kinda neat but correspondence chess is probably more fun when you're already familiar with playing it the normal way
<Marlin Clock> This thread seems proof positive that divisiveness at any level is usually bad for the Clock Crew.
<PhantomCatClock> are we talking about the same clock crew

for you i will make a exception and play checkers by shitpost

just remember you are contractually obligated to take a jump if you are able to, in checkers. that's how they screw you, after all.
