I have a brain tumor. Can't work and I'm bored and reconnecting with people and stuff.

you and I were never very close so I'm probably not the dude you're looking to reconnect with but very few people still post here so on behalf of the mostly empty forums, hey sup

I'm in remission for lymphoma, whatever that's worth for commiserations. wish I had wisdom to offer, but there's not really anything to say that hasn't been said a million times. try to forgive people if they're weird about it, I guess, that's all I've got. there's a kind of sacred human drama around serious illness that doesn't really match the reality of living it, and nobody really knows how to handle being right up against it, we just go through it because there's no other choice

lol I don't even remember this post. They had me on anti seizure med Keppra, which destroyed my memory while I was on it. I don't remember August lol. Your response was great, and maybe we never got close but you were there for years and were always an awesome guy. I've been having a lot of tearful moments and reconnecting with people and it's been great. I've always been antisocial and kept people at arms length and I should have embraced more of you guys. I've got durian and Shasta in my immediate, lifelong friends group. Tamale isn't online these days but he'll pop up again. But I should have connected with more clocks, you guys are into art and expression and this community was always such a great outlet. I owe the clock crew a lot, for helping me develop into the person I am. I love you all.

And if someone got an invite to the discord I'll check that out, the invite link on the main page is expired
