The name change to "Eggman" didn't go over as well as the name change to "Peach". I think they should double back.

The name comes From Kintobor (nname backwwards). According to SEGA, the was Robotniks name untill something lead him to a "life of crime".

Besides, Eggmans just his nickname.

Not really. Robotnik was able to kidnap a bunch of cuddly animals, whereas Eggman built the robotic army that brought about the destruction of a city and almost the planet.

Robtnik, hands down. I remember playing sonic adventure for the first time and hearing them call him eggman over and over and being totally confused as to why they're calling him by this gay name.
