Quote from: Red Alloy;1169040Roman, you should change it so that it doesn't perform the test just on loading the file.
The test stops as soon as the page finishes loading.

On this College Apple Mac, it does 79000 cycles (rating of 7)

what? it doesn't finish on loading, the speed just varies between computarz

Explain why on both a college PC and a college mac that it did roughly 0 to 1000 cycles when I loaded the page, and then explain why it performed 79000 cycles on the mac when I loaded JUST the swf file.

I did, I refreshed the page a number of times and the CPU test would abruptly finish as soon as Firefox finished loading the page.

Maybe it's just the way the college computers are set up, even then, there should at least be a start button on the SWF file so you can prepare your system for testing.

Bigglesnoots

I have to rightclick > play to start it, so I have plenty of time to let the page load and stuff

too bad my CPU sucks though :(

I got a 4, but I'm running this on my point of sale machine, which is running the cybercafe control software, a constant virus sweep, and currently streaming a divx movie, so it might be a little skewed. Either way this is the slowest machine in my arsenal.
