the internet is not serious business, and i have never known the clockcrew to treat it like so.

i haven't really been here the last week, so i don't know the whole story necessarily, but from how it seems it looks like a lot of drama is starting over something insignificant. could someone perhaps clue me in on what's been going on?

it basically happened again, only this time Albino banned Rupee because Rupee was defending Wade's actions.
And then the rest of the staff moved to unban Rupee.
and then it became apparent that Tom was considering removing the website, because Rupee was bitching to him

and some people are going "reban rupee, fuck Tom, we'll spam some more, etc. etc." and some people are going "keep rupee here stop spamming" and then it's "we're going to leave the site" and whatever else

Rupee didn't defend Wade's actions, per say. His attitude was more like "ClockCrew, you shouldn't have done that. Wade Fulp, you shouldn't have done that either." He thought we went a little far, but he didn't support Wade throwing a shit fit and deleting everything.

There are a lot of grey areas in how people feel about it. It's not as simple as your last little paragraph implies it is.

Newgrounds is a portal where anyone can upload what ever they want and if the community likes it then it is saved so if we want to submit mass movies then why the fuck shouldn't we, we have just as a right to submit movies as anyone else and if we want to vote on each others movies then why the fuck shouldn't we, we broke no rules.

Rupee didn't delete anything, and Wade would probably have deleted them even without Rupee talking about it.
Its not a cool idea to screw up someone else's website for fun, you won't get far. And now you just complain about the consequences. If you're so mad about getting your spam deleted, make your own portal to host it.

Time paradox. We went from single frame, to 5 seconds of speech/loops/general spammish material, to movies, and now the people trying to return to the 5 seconds of speech era are getting bitched out.

We shouldn't make one type, but the group of people behind each type constantly clash, and with the unveiling of the possibility of rules being set against spam, a lot of people flipped out.

From what I've seen in his movies, Rupee was only a clock in name. He is a talented individual and a general nice guy, but I'd rather have him around as "Rupee, Clock Friend" rather then "RupeeClock", until he gets his priorities straight.

Priorities being seeing the Newgrounds regulars for the shitstains they are and doing everything to make them realize the errors of their anime-wanking ways.
