I'm sorta hating 3 right now because I'm at one of those points where I'm in no mood to start leveling up my guys yet under the necessary level to succeed in the next dungeon.
Same thing with 12.

Fucking RPGs. This is the sort of reason why I've never finished a FF.

Also I was a Sega Genesis kid, so I never played the snes. Sonic and X-men and NBA Jam is how I spend most of my electronic days.
I didn't even have a game boy, I had the game gear,(sega) which actually was pretty cool because you could plug a power cord into a car lighter and it had a back-lit screen, that well made up for its hulking size and 6-battery capacity.

I had a Genesis and a SNES at the same time. Life was good.

My parents were a bit cautious on the whole gaming thing. A little too much, my uncle came once on a visit and downloaded Wolfenstein 3D (Which was awesome) but when my mom found out she deleted it. They didn't want us getting lazy, either.

I guess their fears were not completely unfounded, the skinniest(for my age) I've ever been was back when my biggest console was the 64 and I wasn't a gamer yet.

Quote from: Link;1263159Listen, there wasn't anything wrong with FF7  (it was a great and captivating game, in my opinion) but the fanboys that claimed it was god and the internet jokes/shit that spawned from that game will ruin it for anyone who hasn't played it beforehand.

This sums up a great amount of things in the internet quite nicely.

Yeah, the SNES games were great for FF, FF6 really blew my mind. The intro sequence was like the greatest thing when I was a kid. Also, it's not on SNES, but Tactics for the GBA still rates as my favorite.
