GTA4 has officially gone gold and is currently being shipped to retailers! As of right now we have 11 days until the biggest video game of the year drops. some fun facts if you don't know!

Dan Houser claims it will be as big a step up as GTA3 was from GTA2.
All animation will be handled by naturalmotions's EUPHORIA engine with true to life skeletal physics, no 2 kills will be the same.
16 player multiplayer with 15 highly customizable gamemodes.
Improved combat including a cover system ala gears of war
highly integrated online experience via rockstar's social club which tracks all online and offline exploits in liberty city
OVER 100 HOURS OF SINGLE PLAYER GAMEPLAY!

anyway this game is going to be epic, i have the special edition preordered i look forward to seeing some of you on XBL. APRIL 29TH YEAH LETS DO THIS.

as of right now yeah, might be a pc release in the future but don't expect it to drop for wii or ps2 or something ridiculous like that.

Since there only 3 games that are for for the 360 that won't be coming out for the PC, I doubt I'm ever going to get a 360, so I'll have to wait until the pc version is released.
I hope they don't put off the PC release too long.

I was going to get it but decided to wait until the price drops in like a year. Also my 360 went to shit AGAIN so it dosen't even matter. I had just gotten a copy of Bioshock too :/

I don't think i've ever been hyped for a game as much as this one. I cannot fucking wait.

I ordered GTA IV special edition of Amazon Uk and I can't wait. The special edition comes in a limited edition rockstar duffle bag, with an art book inside, the game specially packed, a metal safety deposit box, a keychain and the soundtrack of the game.

40-50 hours of faffing about, 40-45 hours of driving, and 5-20 hours of actual action.

I'm pretty excited for this and I've never really counted myself as a GTA fan at all. My girlfriend and I are going halves in it and will probably attend the Midnight launch (because I'm nerdy like that).

It's impressive how the trailer users music and style from the film Koyaanisqatsi[/I. It's a meaningful reference-- the projects being demolished in the movie, Pruitt-Igoe, are well-known as the embodiment of everything wrong with urban life.

It looks like a great game but one of my friends is too fucking obsessed with it. It's all he talks about and he bought a 360 just to play it, even though he has a PS3 (and frequently sucks its dick).

game looks fun but the graphics look odd. all the screenshots look like paintings and theres a little too much bloom if you ask me.
