So i bought this fabulous program the other night, but they forgot to give me a serial number! So rather then bother them for one i found WHAT SEEMED like a friendly keygen, and being the rather large idoit i am i got me a big ass trojan horse right up my ass. I keep getting an error message about something that needs to be deleted but when i choose to delete it it just asks to restart my computer and shows the message agian upon relogging. My computer now lags like shit and cannot connect to the internet, and i have no experience with these little shits so just hold my hand. I'm on a school computer right now.

tl;dr breadfruit is a big dumb head and needs help removing a virus

Where did you save this particular keygen?  Have you been DISINFECTING the immediate area?

Keygen was deleted before i knew i was infected, i do remember getting alot of "TROJAN FOUND" messages when i downloaded it, but it said they were deleted. If i remember correctly, the file it keeps requesting to delete is something like C:\Windows\System32\nnnlol.dll or something like that, which does not even exist (there IS somthing like C:\Windows\System32\nnnloI.dll which wont delete though).

RabidClock

I suggest downloading an antivirus to delete it for you, or you can google the filename and hope there's a free fix for it.

p.s. AVG is free

EDIT: Better yet, get a Mac and avoid viruses altogether.

The filename does not bring up anything, and i kinda want to save my computer rather then buy a new one, especially a yucky Mac.

It says it is being used, which scares me!
Also keep in mind that might not be the right file name, i'm stating that from memory.

hit ctrl+alt+del to open the task manager, then click over to the "Processes" tab.    do you see any .exe's running that you don't recognize?   if so, how much memory are they using?

What kind of connection do you have to the internet?  If wireless do you know how to maintain a healthy wireless network or does someone in the house take care of it?

Its wireless, i don't touch it. I turned it off before i left the house.

SpinningCubeClock

I was kidding :(

I love you :(

I'll sell you one for half price :)
hello

RabidClock

try booting into safe mode and then deleting it, it might be part of a service that's running because of the trojan.

(just start pressing F9 until something happens at boot up)

k0ma

I would recommend unplugging the router completely for about a minute and removing then reinserting any cards, however, do not remove or insert any card while power is being flowed through it.   It will combust and you will be saddened.

Safemode does seem like a good idea, i didn't attempt it yet (and if it wasn't for you i wouldn't even know how to attempt it).

I don't have a card i have something that connects by usb, and it didn't seemed to be on (theres a blue light that blinks, and it wasn't blinking!).

k0ma

Safemode is a perfectly fine idea.

I won't have access to said infected computer for a few hours, can the trojan do any damage while the computer and internet are shutdown?
