I passed Psych 1 with a C in a community college, so I think I'm qualified to say this, but correct me if I'm wrong:

Intelligence refers to one's ability to gain and apply knowledge, not knowledge itself, so a real test for measuring it wouldn't have any questions that assume prior knowledge like, for a hyperbolic example, "true or false, the reciprocal of the square root of 196 expressed in decimals to the nearest tenth is .07 YOU HAVE TWENTY SECONDS GO"

you're not necessarily wrong there, but you're not exactly right either, at no fault of your own: there are several definitions and theories of intelligence (emotional intelligence, triarchic, psychometric/IQ, etc.) and there's no absolute consensus among psychologists among them.  you're on the right track with your definititon, though, since the most widely accepted definition is that intelligence is the ability to reason, think critically and abstractly, learn from experience, etc.  it's not strictly learning capacity, per se, but it's sort of the ability to apply what you learn and be able to think through things, in complete layman's terms.

if there were one question that's a dead giveaway of how bad this measure really is for measuring IQ on a psychometric scale, it's the question about 16:24 hours in a day to 20:30 days in June - it overtly requires that one know how many days are in June to answer correctly, so it's more of a trivia question than a measure of intelligence

but hey it's the internet and i don't think anyone takes these seriously anyway soooooooo

I got 147 on some other internet test before (i.e. years ago), I'm not doing this one now because I'm pretty drunk and lazy.

Also I know for a fact that I'm smarter than both Chicken and Heineken combined so them both having a score of 172 doesn't add much to the credibility o f this test.

hahaha this test is complete bullshit.  only 0.13% scores over 144, everything above 140 qualifies you as a genius and i truly doubt any of you fits that bill.

I actually did take a long ass IQ test few years ago (a real one, not some internet WIN A FREE RINGTONE IQ test) and scored 137.
