Wrote this in art class two days ago when I was bored.

Birds chirped in the park as a tree stood, neglected and lonely.  No one cared to notice this tree, and it had become rather sad.  However, the tree's luck would soon change as a man let his bicycle rest against the tree.
"Hello, there!" said the tree.  "My name is Maple.  It's nice to see someone around these parts again.  You see, I have been rather sad and alone, as I have been ignored.  The children do not swing on my branches and no one has cared to pick my apples.  My maple apples.  However, alas, you have come along like a ray of golden sunshine, though you are not so much golden as you are pink and covered in hearts.  Regardless, it is such a joyous occasion to finally meet someone again.  You see, I had been so alone I even considered ending my life, but with you here I-"
Suddenly, the man took the bicycle and began to ride it away.
  "O-okay then, bye now..."
The man rode the bicycle down the hill with glee as he felt the wind on his hair and the whir of the wheels as they spun in frantic movement.  As the man reached the bottom of the hill, he still felt the excitement, even as the bike slowed to a stop.  He was so thoroughly excited, you see, because he was in love with his bicycle.
The man had not found this love more than three months ago, while window shopping.  He passed by the bike shop when he laid his eyes on it, the love of his life.  He bought it at that moment, and from then on every second was magic, from taking it home, to riding it through the streets, to that first night of passionate lovemaking.
This love, although still young, was the kind of love that lasted an eternity.  There would be no other, even after the bike would get old and rusted, he would remain faithful to that bike.  This was true love.
In the park, at the burger shack, the man shared fries with his bike.  All was well, and life could not be better.  There was peace.
The peace did not last, however, as Maple, the tree, burst through the doors of the burger shack.
"That is my bike, you wretch!"
Confused, the man stepped in front of the bike to protect it from any harm.
"That bike changed my world and made me whole again, and you so callously stole it from me, and for that you shall die!"
Suddenly, the tree upholstered a luger and shot the man through the chest.  In his dying breaths, the man nodded at his love, signaling her to move on with her life.
"it is good to be with you," said Maple.  "I truly feel like I can connect with you.  It's like a new chapter in our lives has begun..."

The End

PS These would look more like paragraphs but I can't do a paragraph indent on a forum.

PPS This looked so much longer in writing.

I've long been fascinated with idea of giving inanimate objects life in a magically realistic way.

Fuck I want to write a romance novel between a guy in a car, looking at that article I posted not too long ago.
