Finally Batman #679 came out and I've been waiting for it for ages, so I bought it and a plastic/cardboard combo to but it in.

Then I felt like a real nerd when I got home and realized that it's the 24th comic I've done that for since mid-July. Please, please Clock Crew, tell me I'm not alone. Someone, anyone who buys comics and puts them in plastic post here. Make me feel better about myself :(

TequilaClock

I buy comics too but I like them on my shelf. Nothing nerdy with the plastic in my opinion, I put my DS on a plastic bag so it doesnt get scratched or something.

In fact I should get a plastic for my Hellboy and Street Fighter issues so they don't get buttered with prints.

EDIT: Shit, I just googled that issue so he fucking killed Robin?!

EDIT2: Oops shit nevermind, missed the number.

Haha wat? No. Nightwing got beaten to a pulp and thrown in Arkham, Alfred got beaten to a pulp and is still in the Batcave, Batman has gone totally fucking nuts and as of now I'm pretty sure he's forgotten he's also Bruce Wayne, because it seems his mind got wiped. Now he's following his visions of the Bat-Mite and being the Batman of Zur En Arrh, which I don't quite understand. Evidently it's a backup personality Batman implanted in himself in case he ever did get amnesia or had his mind erased. Robin has just been kind of running around, he was trying to get in contact with Nightwing when last seen. Also the Batcave is totally destroyed and was used as a hideout for a group of villains, but they now moved to Arkham Asylum after beating Jeremiah Arkham to a pulp. People are saying "Bruce Wayne is Batman" will no longer be a factual statement after this story arc is all over. That's just a rumor right now though!

Yeah, I've heard of it. I think I might've downloaded it even, haven't got around to it yet though. 52(a crossover series) had me preoccupied for the past couple weeks. I've been looking for something new to jump into. Maybe I'll start on that.

When I was like 14 and Young Justice was coming to an end I found out my local shop had an entire box of back issues for like 50 cents each. These were the first comics I bought that came with plastic and cardboard, and do you know what?
I threw the plastic and cardboard away. >=)
