I used to visit the site regularly but I got tired of it.
I mostly just flamed people on System Wars and decided doing so was lame when you get banned for calling someone "idiot".

i just type games im interested in in google once in a while and i go wherever it takes me, i don't need to know about 9000000 bullshit games. there's only a handful i care about.

Word. I use Kotaku for news, and 1up for community content/features. 1up is a little slow on uploading some games, though. Probably because they have to push EGM content more. Still, I like their community features.

If I want to know about new releases and stuff I go to Joystiq, GameTrailers or Kotaku. Dunno why I don't check IGN, just never got into it.

I think I remember some kind of controversy with their scoring system sometime around 2002. I don't know if it still applies, and I can't remember what it was, specifically.

Pfff i really don't care about numbers, the reviewers always weigh it with their opinions, no matter what. I judge what game looks fun for me by myself.
