I love the colours, and the mixture of digital media in the bear's torso. I also like the careful way you've used the lines, in the bear's head in particular, to map the contours of the surface as well as to serve the style

I've been on and off.. normally for me I get very good and for one reason or another I stop and my talent begins to rust, then i pick it back up. But this year I've been nonstop with art.

They are not perfect, but what's really important in this work? It's the energy and the colour and the ideas that make it great. Perfect anatomy might even detract from it. It has it's charms, and he will develop a better sense of anatomy and proportion -- at least to the extent that his art requires it -- through the joy of his work.

I think it's important not to get too bogged down with that stuff until you really need to. There are certain disciplines for which anatomy and proportions are important... For most schools of design and illustration they're not really central or key at all

i don't think technical critique is out of place if the artist attempts to portray characters semi-realistically

but it might not be the most important aspect, no

By the way, are you that guy I knew, who made a movie about some sheep and banana flying around the world? If not, ignore this, your name just sounded familiar.
