Reggie should drop his occupation as a professional buttocks and join the NBA.

I personally love the PSN store.  It's basically the XBLA one minus Castle Crashers, and different games.  PS3 needs Castle Crashers.  And the Wii desperately needs a hard drive solution.

Quote from: AvocadoClock;1404586You could argue that Xbox Live costs money per month, and I could argue that you have to get a stupid new controller for some virtual console games.

No games require the classic controller.

Quote from: SnakeClock;1404665The SD card slot is my best friend.

I'm 99% sure that the VC roms are different format than the original ones, and plus the Wii doesn't let you move VC games from the SD card anyway.

PSN is getting better. I especially like that it has PSP demos that you can download (and even some PSP games you can straight up buy), but there's not a lot to choose from up there right now. Qore seems to be changing that a bit, though. I still don't get why they charge half as much as an Xbox LIVE subscription for Qore, though, for just about the same types of content that Microsoft offers in greater quantity and for free, usually.

There's still not enough on the PS3 to get me to buy one, though. At least not yet. I might change my mind once Little Big Planet comes out, though (or just buy that game and play it at work after hours).

Agreed. But with the 360's upcoming software update, maybe it will be even longer before the PS3 can fetch out a reason for me to get one

Can't you get a 360 for the same price as Wii now?

The Wii remote can't be used on N64 or SNES games. Not all Genesis or Neo Geo games work with it either.

You could argue that I could use a GameCube controller instead, but not everyone has a GameCube controller lying around.

article on Virtual Console controller options
QuoteOf course, there’s also the concern that [the Wii remote] can’t be used on many Virtual Console games at all: simply not enough buttons, and there’s no way to remap controls to try to work around that limitation.

SageClock

so far, i've only bought VC games that can be played with the wiimote, because i know i wouldn't want to be arsed to hunt down a gamecube remote the very few times i'm in the mood to play vc games.

actually, i still only have 5 total so far: super mario bros., legend of zelda, tecmo bowl, ice hockey, and adventures of lolo. i've played them each only 2 or 3 times.

i've been tempted to pick up the DKC trilogy, though. i can play and replay those games until the end of time, it seems. i'm still pissed they don't have a 3-pack of the games for the DS, and you have to buy the large gba games individually (blah). in fact, i'd rather play the trilogy on the larger PSP screen.
