I've recently discovered the amazing benefits of juicing. I found it was difficult to get a sufficient amount of fresh vegetables in my diet, but thanks to juicing I can cramp a bunch into one glass. It really does make you feel more energized. To make juice you'll need a juicer and some fresh produce. The trick to it is that you want to drink the juice immediately after you make it before all the antioxidants break down.

My favorite mixture is all veggie and typically comprises of:

• 2  Medium Carrots
• 1/2 - 1 full Red Bell Pepper
• 1 Handful of Spinach Leaves
• 2 Roma Tomatoes
• 3 Stalks of Celery
• Any other tasty veggies you might have

Cut your veggies into pieces just big enough to fit into the juicer. Then just turn it on and drop them in. I'll make about 20 oz worth of juice before I stop. Then chug the whole glass as fast as you can.

A word of warning though: The first time you drink this mixture you'll probably get diarrhea within 2 or 3 hours. This probably is because the juicing is scraping all the crap off the inside of your colon. This is usually only a first time deal though. After that, if you continue to juice regularly, you should be fine.

That doesn't sound to bad, 'cept the celery. I can't stand the stuff. Does it actually taste ok, or do you just drink it just because it makes you feel better?
