I felt like redesigning my "Geometric Demon" in flash with better symmetry and smoothness. So I did.

Original here

Any particular reason why?

Because it looks like it took way more effort and because the flash version is far too pointy and square looking

PepperClock

I think it looks great in both versions, complex and intricate designs are personally my favorite to view, so drawings like this that clearly took some time are something i can appreciate!

I like the paper version more - hard to pinpoint exactly why.  It may have to do with the slightly rounded edges...it's easier to see the bricks as stone with light pouring through them.  In the flash version, it looks flatter.

It's the ink's soft edges, naturally.

You should make a drypoint version. =3

FLOUNDERMAN_CLOCK

I like them both equally, and the flash version need's to be a band's logo.

A what-now?  I'm not familiar with any fancy artistic tools, I mostly just use .5mm mechanical pencils and ball point pens.

That actually ran through my mind while making it.

The paper version is very very sexy. I like the rounded edges and the way is tilts to the side. Lots of effort. A+

I also noticed you changed the center and feet!
Quote from: BluezombieClock;1516321Oh yeah, you\'re so right. I really don\'t know what to say! That\'s why I got four girls\' phone numbers yesterday, right?
PS: Also, 5 hours of intense frenching ftw

It's an etching printmaking technique made by carving into a metal plate, pouring ink over it, and washing it off of the uncarved surface, leaving the carved portions holding wells of ink. The metal scratched away by the etching needle is pushed to the sides, making a rough edge around the lines that results in the first few prints having a washy, blurred character.
