SpinningCubeClock

So after watching a few tutorials, I finally understand how to add custom skins and textures to models. Here's my first attempt. Modelled and skinned in like, 6 hours non stop. It is now 3am. Wtf.

Comments and shit plz.
hello

DiscoBallClock

When I first looked at the first pic, I thought it was real.
It's realistic because of the texture of the head and torso; it's dirty, along with parts of the label.

BoulderClock

Pretty neat. FUCK OFF YOU TWATS

Loki Clock

You be reminding me of some Metal Arms business with that design.

SnakeClock

Pretty awesome. Again I ask what you're making this in.

With the last picture the shadows on the hand look a bit too bright with the hue of blue you used.
Also with the textures, the fading of the HEINZ SPOTTED DICK looks like it could be improved some.

Theres no such thing as excess when it comes to 3D.

I agree. The blue shadow, I only noticed once it was uploaded so I was like fuck that i'll leave it.

The fading of label was just a quick shitty job in photoshop.

Quote from: FLOUNDERINYOBUTT;1837615I think Kodiak is the only person on  this entire website who dislikes Slurpee. I still dont understand how  thats possible. He\'s so loveable and funny. Every guy wants to be his  friend and every girl wants to date him. Understandably Slurpee is not a  very happy person.

MasterClock

Looks cool!

On an unrelated note, I didn't know you made a 3D Master and it looks quite fantastic!

You just need to make the label look exfoliated around where it's been faded. If you kept the layer you drew the "fade" on separate from the label's layer, this will be easy to do. A "find edges" type filter will do the trick. If not, though, you'd be better off reapplying the label and starting over at that point. Also, the metal should look less corroded the more recently it's paint has come off.

Yeah, I might do that if I ever really use this. It was more of a test to try out some mapping which I just figured out with custom textures like this. Thanks though :)
