What game am i thinking of?

I remember it was posted here at some point, its a 3d side scrolling game, but when you press a button or do something, the whole plane of vision shifts, and its like you change the way you are facing and go that way. The graphics were really simple, and your character was like flat.

I remember in the videos they showed you were like climbing a castle, and  you went around the perimeter of the castle climbing up, and when you pressed the button you would go from walking on the X axis to the Z axis... its really hard to explain but it was definitely in development so i'm wondering how its going!
