I just watched the first 2 episodes and I liked them.
I generally dig stories about time traveling anyway. I hope they will execute this well in the course of the season.
Looks like they got rid of the whole flashback/flashforward thing and replaced it with jumping around the 3 different timelines.
Faraday was kinda annoing though, with his smart-ass attitude. And why did Desmond get the memory 3 years later? He should have got it a few days after he left the island, when Faraday met him at the hatch in his timeline, unless the time for the people on the island progresses extremely fast (like the already indicated it in season4?).

the revealing of rousseau and her team was quote cool, but not nearly as cool as the aftermath of the smoke monster's attack. i love love loved the conflict on the beach where rousseau is holding her boyfriend at gunpoint and he's defending the island. brilliant
