Not much, mang. Looking up men's style guides and tips. They are annoying. "A man wears a watch." "Metal buttons are great if you're captaining a yacht, but..." "Dare to be noticed." "When it comes to luggage, men don't pull."

I really don't think I'll ever find myself trying that hard.

What about you, sucka?

"Thereââ,¬â,,¢s nothing worse than seeing a guy who is well dressed, nailing the details such as pattern mixing, good shoes and grooming only to see a huge wallet-sized bulge in his pocket."

Really? Nothing worse? You can't think of anything?

You can carry a wallet but it has to be small, apparently.

Is this seriously, or just to laugh at the ridiculousness? If you want something a little more grounded, I've found some good stuff on reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice (although like anything on that site you have to take it with a grain of salt)

It's pretty serious. I suppose I'm a bit late in looking, though, since I've already bought a crapload of shirts and ties and sweater vests. I bought what I liked without thinking much about what I "should" be wearing or how I should be wearing them. So I figured I'd look for some basic style guides. Most of them are pretty dumb.

I'm looking at that reddit board now, thanks. :lo5:

Apparently that's preferable to seeing a bulge in someone's back pocket.

But then there are all the New Years parties, and then the beginning of January parties, and all of the second week of the year parties. It never ends, man.

wouldn't a larger wallet imply more money within to the outside looker? I dont get this.

But if you saw the episode of Doctor Who that his avatar is cosplaying, you'd know that sometimes credit cards can have fifty million credits on them. A cashfat wallet could have two grand, tops.

haha that is true but I'm trying to go to less and say no more often but not too often ;)

AstronautClock

also wearing whatever you want will attract similar minded people as yourself dont play pretend

AstronautClock

dont pretend you have 50 million on your credit card because youre not wearing a fat wallet you will only dissapoint the gold diggers

PhantomCatClock

It was only one million pounds, but in the heart-warming final scene the crazy old merchant learns that it's worth fifty million credits and runs off to buy a home on earth and pretend he isn't an alien but that's okay because he really digs earth and anyone he finds on this planet pre-interstellar exploration will be like-minded
