I knew exactly one person like that IRL in my life. Back in highschool he was just so obnoxious, otherwise a decent guy but he'd just go on and on about how great it was to be an atheist and handed out pamphlets and shit. He was overshadowed by our hilariously insane christian abstinence club though. Yes it was a whole club, they made shirts and wore them regularly.
