when I point this out people get mad, which I get, but it's kind of important information that the standard bearer for the abhorrent levels of inhumanity that mankind is capable of inflicting upon itself was also kind to children, humorously self-deprecating, and an incorrigible flirt, because none of those things prevented him from becoming the standard bearer for the abhorrent levels of inhumanity that mankind is capable of inflicting upon itself.

evil doesn't look like evil, it looks like a silly old man flirting awkwardly in front of his girlfriend's camera. who thought the ends justified the means, even though the ends were never guaranteed, and the means are all he'll be remembered for. who forgot that the people who suffered from his actions were every bit as human as himself. who was capable of justifying anything to himself. that's not so remarkable.

Thing with Eva Braun's videos is, they are not just random spontaneous home videos and they are not painting an accurate picture. They were created with the intent to portrait him as a nice old man who loves children etc.

It's not exactly "staged" but when they were filmed everyone knew what the point of the videos was supposed to be and behaved accordingly.

so did anyone watch that Duke Nukem bulletstorm video? Jon st. John isnt even trying anymore with the voice and the lip sync is embarrassing. Duke also seems to have a weird overbite but i dont know that could just be from them putting the Duke skin on the skeleton of the original character

So I was playing with my cat and had the following thought: "In the Netherlands cats give head." Which is a mildly funny observation, because that's the literal translation of what we say in Dutch when a cat like rubs his face all over you or headbutts you (he he headbutt), but in English it of course has a sexual meaning, ha ha, HA HA, HA HA, HA HA. So I googled it to figure out if someone had ever said this before, and check it out:

The other day I thought "You're getting awful prickly about these tiny issues, you hedgehog." Which I thought was pretty cool so I googled it later and out came "to be prickly towards what is small, seemeth to me wisdom for hedgehogs" - Nietzsche. I translated my thought from Dutch so it wasn't as close to the actual quote as it might now appear, so did I make it up or just forget reading the original? I once had an idea about a way to come up with like basic elements for a story, which would be to simply watch TV and change channels. Like: celebrity, as seen on TV diet milkshake, Wall Street, astrology, fishing boats, nazi, gazelle, cooking, cooking, cooking, a man burned with sulphuric acid, locked adult channel. Which of course isn't that different to rolling dice, or utilizing the I Ching or a Chinese take-out menu to make music, Mark.

somebody told me "I love pipes" was another one of those Dutch-English puns, because pipen means "pipes" and "piping" and "piping" is slang for sucking dick, possibly in a third language? I can't really remember but that's how I learned the totality of what I know about the -en suffix in the Dutch language
