Call it naïveté if you will but I still think the way Newgrounds project management system was such a broken mess after the 2012 redesign is the major blunder that the site has never recovered from. I remember it being almost if not totally impossible to submit stuff for at least a few weeks. Of course I was in high school then and time seemed to move a lot slower.

In any case I think if you were to graph activity on NG you would see the decline start following that launch.
