Here's an idea I had: have BB10 rerecord all dialog, sound effects and music using only his voice.

Sounds like a good idea, right? Although it seems like a real hassle and I can't be bothered.

the single spelling error, jagged images, and slight but still noticeable jpeg artifacts give it character. It would't be right if there were a bunch of errors or the image was cleaner.

The artifacts are from tumblr’s abysmal image compression, but the jagged edges are from being slapped together in flash 8 because I couldn’t be bothered to open photoshop

for a site nominally about posting images and art it's funny how bad the image compression is. I remember it used to break any gif with magenta or cyan in it and scaling was awful. I bet it still is. I saw a photo of some random staff member and he was wearing a tie as a belt. crocs too I think? this is the kind of person coding that site.

I don't think tumblr gets "coded" any more, I think it was coded long ago by people who haven't worked there for many years. I think nowadays it is mostly just sold, and the new owners hire contractors to do whatever the bare minimum is required to keep it nominally running. I base this on nothing, it just seems like it would probably be true

I’ve used ‘Naugrim’ longer than KaijuTurtle and the reason I switched is because generally it’s taken as a username just about everywhere so it’s not shocking than domain costs would be high. In Tolkien’s elvish it’s the word for Dwarf

Number of medals and number of movies would be great because for the longest time (read: prior to 2013) it was a serious point of pride for me the quantitative work ethic I had for just sheer number of flash pumped out (read: basically unwatchable)

Does feel like something of a bygone era but I can’t say I don’t get a warm kind of excited when my Clock day flash gets put on the front page.
