That big window was held onto the house by the exterior moulding, not attached to a single stud. What's more miraculous is that a professional carpenter was paid to install it once upon a time.

We had a guy who was friends with my parents in high school install some windows and he was a REAL CHUCKLEFUCK. Not that bad, though. Bugs were able to just crawl under the windows because he was a moron, and one wouldn't even open because he put caulking all over it like a dumbass
