My algebra professor explained it once in detail. It was pretty fascinating. I forgotted, though. My tendancy to do so in that class is likely what lead to the B that ruined my 4.0.

But basically its like masking except you draw a line and then tween an object and it follows that line.

There's no real reason to ever use it.
