In the midst of that ban, the Watercooler was implemented, so the ban was off. However, upon the merging of the two threads, apparently the ban is back. I've talked to several Smods, and they say I'm not on the forumban list, and I can't access the debate forum.

Yeah, the smods wouldn't see you on the forumban list, because you're not on it.

Your exclusion was probably implemented as an access mask via the admin cp instead of through the forumban hack- or else there was a bug, and you were banned via forumban, but it expired without lifting it automatically as it should have.

The reason you weren't banned from Watercooler was it was a brand new forum, and the reason the ban from Plato's came back is the forums weren't merged, they were just switched out, so in truth it never left.

But I guess all that's not really important.

I could lift it with a couple of clicks, but I'm voluntarily excluding myself from regulating that forum- Cadillac's running it, and it's my intention to avoid stepping on his toes wherever possible. You could PM him a request, and if he wants to let you off the hook he'll let me know, and then I'll go ahead and lift it.

That's pretty bureaucratic, but such is life.
