Yeah, we got hit pretty good again today. And I have to drive out to Portland Airport tomorrow to pick someone up.

Is it just me or do Yukon and the NW Territories seem way too small to justify their own separate regional governments?
There are literally more people living in the city of Champaign in the middle of nowhere Illinois than those two combined. I get Nunavut because it's supposed to be a native territory, but not those two.

Well Nunavut was originally encompassed into the NW Territories, but it was proclaimed too large for one territorial government to deal with, so they split it 1999. I imagine the reason behind the Yukon being separate from the NW Territories originally probably had something to do with how the gold rush happened and a fuck ton of people were doing business there. But that's baseless speculation.

Also, that picture I posted of his street is from like last fall or something like that, not the winter. I dread what it's like up there now.

There's like 2 feet of snow on the ground where i am.

I am going to learn how to draw and animate now, just so I can be StomachClock, the newest CC villain who infiltrates the Fruit Clock HQ just to gobble up as many delicious Clocks as he can. Only one man can stop him: FrankClock. StomachClock won't go near him because, damn... he sucks.

Quote from: FloundermanClock;1967581wasnt one of their album covers CP?

ah, yes, 1976's Virgin Killer
influenced the scenes in Spinal Tap about their "controversial" album cover Smell the Glove

it actually even sparked some controversy recently between wikipedia and the United Kingdom
rock stars got in trouble all the time in the 70's, but part of you has to respect one that's STILL really controversial, even
personally I don't see what the big deal is

why?

VuBawlsClock

Well, the first week and a half was 6 hour shifts with 6 hours off, which is terrible because we always had drills right after my shift.
Then it finally got bumped back to 12 hour shifts, but then we had to strip and rewax the floor in all our spaces. I was night shift.
I had to deal with the bullshit that is my higher ups and some I'm a edgy teen new rules that were put in.
The drills I was talking about are called General Quarters and lasted for 2 hours each night and we did like 15 drills all together. The ship basicly acted as if it were being attacked and taking on damage. So it's essentially damage control drills. I got to where this along with a fucking Scuba gear pack on my back and etc.

then we did a CBR drill some time half way through the trip and I got to where this along with a full suit that is hot and terrible and climb the top of the ship to check for chemical agents

BilliardBall10

wow, vuvu, your trip was awful, but you had epic suits.

i wish that your next trip will be more relaxed, and with less drills.

Anyone ever learn the harmonica? There's 5000 tutorials online but half don't go in depth or cover basic things

I did
kind of
one of my reeds broke and after that I stopped
I never learned tongue blocking or any of the cool stuff

but I did find out the main thing people don't realize at first and nobody ever thinks to mention is you only want to blow/suck into one of the holes at once

otherwise it sounds like a tiny shitty accordion

just blow into, like, the third hole only, until you get a single loud, clear, pleasant note
start from there

the more you play with it after that point, the better you'll get at it
until you reach a certain point where theory is required for the next step up
but I find that's true of most things
