I got to that part in wolfenstein 3d where you are in a long fancy hallway and there is a dude in a robot suit on the other side of the door and he murdered me every time. I don't think it was mecha hitler he was blonde it was like a lesser mook who also had a robot suit

I had to have been like 8. I never beat it. but anyway that was the only wolfenstein game I've ever played

the other thing is if you humped enough walls in that game you'd find sweet secret doors that led to money and guns, and most of them were behind portraits of hitler, so to my child brain I'm like "this hitler dude rules he keeps giving me stuff"

FLOUNDERMAN_CLOCK

did every nineties FPS do that thing where you touch every random wall to open up secret areas or just the ones I played.

In the early nineties when fps meant stuff like doom, duke nukem, wolfenstien, and even into the quake era, pretty much.

In the late nineties we were seeing fps like Half-life and medal of honor emerge where things were moving away from that sort of labyrinthine run-and-gun design, so i wouldn't say it, like, defined nineties shooters or anything.

Touhou fans are the weirdest thing. I never understood the obsession but I also don't play a whole lot of scrolling shooters. Music is good though, and I can respect that the dude makes games by himself.

Speaking of scrolling shooters with good music Thunder Force IV's soundtrack was better.

'cause almost all of the characters are girls

FLOUNDERMAN_CLOCK

Quote from: BoomStick Clock;1971123that is some dope music.

And on a sega genesis too. It may have been technically inferior to the SNES but it had a unique FM synth sound that was mind blowing in the right hands.

(don't actually play this game only the music is good)

There's more porn of touhou than any other game franchise I'm aware of. And somehow the art is all still better than the official art.

So there was angry birds, then candy crush, then flappy bird...

Guys which early 2000's flash game should I turn into an android app? I'm ready to make my millions.

<Marlin Clock> This thread seems proof positive that divisiveness at any level is usually bad for the Clock Crew.
