Speaking of: Tonight's episode was actually pretty great. There was some hamfisted stuff about how this one guy was gay and keeping it a secret and Scully remarked how sad it was that "it's 2016" and someone would still not be out or whatever. Mulder and Scully also refer to themselves as 'old school' and Scully says she's 'Pre-Google'. Mulder also namedrops Edward Snowden.

It's all takes you out of the story, just for the sake of attempting to seem more modern when there's absolutely no need..

I actually super loved it, too, and came in expecting at least one Clock to as well. My favorite trick gamer isn't actually as impressive as this guy (he can beat MTPO blindfolded) (except actual Mike Tyson because that would be godlike) but I like that guy so much because he set the world record speedrun time for that game first then was like "hey assholes, I can beat it without looking"

i was makin coffee this morning and i used bottled water becuz i still need to replace the brita cartridge but didnt pay attention n used some pure life grape flavored water by accident. sittin at train station thinkin 'did i not wash my thermos or soemthin cuz this taste liek airheads taffy..'

then this gal on the metra was like 'sex burns off more calories than any exercise' and dude was liek 'then y there so many fat hoes?' and I was thinkin dayyummm but she was liek 'hehehehe' so thats how u treat bitches if u want 2 b a playa
