I liked the song

But I can't really work to stuff with lyrics

PhantomCatClock

I can't, either. I keep focusing on what they're saying instead of what I should be doing. Foreign language songs work though

Same here. I like a lot of Hans Zimmer scores. Inception and Interstellar are probably the two I most often use when writing papers.

well

i listen to this alot (the LEGENDS):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4nazch9qe4
this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUmq1cpcglQ
and this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXFSK0ogeg4

also,
i often listen to kavinsky's awesome beats when i want to draw/animate stuff:

nightcall
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MV_3Dpw-BRY
or this awesome song
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8ZAx_OvKpM

also i really like hans zimmer's music/soundtracks, all of them.
(one of my favorites is ''the kraken'', from pirrates of the caribbean.)
just like losperman said, hans zimmer is awesome, and one of the coolest music composers of today.

PS: did you guys know that zimmer's main song for ''inception'' is actually a version of edith piaf's ''ze ne te regrette rien'', but slowed down(alot), and with two notes removed from it?
the people from the movie actually stated that since this is the song that ''kicks'' the people back into reality & outside of the dream world, it is slowed down alot, due to the extra layers of deep sleep/deep dream that the heroes are into...

listening to music while making art isnt really a good idea, personally it messes with my concentration/train of thought

though when its not art work ill put long mixtapes/albums on

DJ Shadow - Diminishing Returns Part 2 , dj mix mostly of 60s to 80s-era rock
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DPNC7ZL3bI

Seconds Before Awakening , ambient music , dark and simple enough to calm me down but not too dark that i get all emotional
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3oGE7qYhuY

Underworld? electronic dance music. i think it might be a good fit if you can find some of the less intense songs like this one
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5TVBIlyObw

i would say other stuff like Essential Mix or something but most of that stuff i listen id consider too intense for "work" music honestly

Almost wanna get rid of the BURP text and draw a clock crew member doing something in the empty panels. Ideas?

well, i've recently said that again, but many years ago, rupee-clock did a thesis for his school, explaining that:
if we remove gardfield from ALL of the comics, then john arbuckle would look like a psychopath. (i.e. talking+screaming to himself)
it was a very interesting project, and i believe that this guy, must've seen rupee's post(s) about this online...

pfft.

also, if you want to add a clock in this comic, add me, saying ''lol si u'' repeatedly, or ''im a swordsman''. (whatever is funnier)
or do anything, really

Slurpee

Rupee didn't invent that premise

d u m p y

Yeah if rupee clock really wrote that thesis then he's a pathetic fucking fag.

It'd be like writing a thesis about "it would actually be REALLY funny if like we put funny captions on cat pictures XD ROFL"

I wrote my masters dissertation on MARIO PARODY FLASH LMAO

d u m p y

Did you guys read that interesting piece in The American Journal of Medicine about how experts now believe that all your base might actually belong to us?

FLOUNDERMAN_CLOCK

I wrote a philosophical treatise on the potential to put a clock on an object and animate it in 1993. it consisted mostly of crayon drawings of tits but I assure you the concepts were fully developed and elaborated upon. I want my fucking royalties and I am suing dumpsterclock for copyright infringement.

FLOUNDERMAN_CLOCK

since when is flash called "adobe animate"? I wonder if they've tried to improve it as an animation program if they're not gonna focus on the other aspects of it now. probably not, but I bet still it takes twice as much resources to run as the previous version.
