I can't confirm for sure, but the closest I've heard to an official confirmation was,

at some point between 2005 and 2010, the CarrotClock account on newgrounds was (without the knowledge of me or whatever other squares were nominally in charge at the time) compromised by a group of then-current members of the Clock Crew, for shenanigans. to the surprise of said group of delightful rascals, nobody at Newgrounds had a problem with this, because Carrot has always been multiple people

I knew it. I'm takin' the W. In your face, littlegoodron.

To someone researching CarrotClock who found this page and feel like it's another dead end echoing throughout the timeline, consider a prolapsed wiener can be one of two completely different prolapsesclock

I grew up with the Nightmare on Elm Street series. I'm watching part 3 now, and I just realized I'm five years older than the psychiatrist in the movie. Growing up, he was the "old guy.". And I'm five. Years. Older.

as long as you don't believe something like Freddie couldn't really happen, you can be a good guy

You almost got me with that double negative. Not this time, Krueger!

I had a similar moment when I was in my 20's and realized that I was, by definition, older than the teenage mutant ninja turtles

sat there for a minute going "I'm older than buffy the vampire slayer, scott pilgrim, tim drake, all of the mighty morphin power rangers... how did this happen? science can ot explin this"

the weirdest one was realizing that, when I played final fantasy 6, I was younger than Gau, and I was now closer in age to Setzer (and in absolutely no sense a dirigible pilot)
idk why that one stuck out to me. for some reason, and in some sense this is still true, when I think about ff6 I think of "myself" as 12 years old, because I just have no adult experiences that override how I saw it through those eyes

anyway, I don't think I'm alone when I say that as a child the ninja turtles lifestyle felt aspirational
and I was like "damn, guess I missed that boat"

but it turns out, they really were behaving more like 20-something mutant ninja turtles the whole time, and I was bound for a sweet life of hanging out with bros and doing martial arts and watching tv and eating pizza after all

I guess the moral of the story is, it's never too late to be a ninja turtle

"old guy."

...It wasn't until rereading this in Slurp's quote that I realized you said OLD GUY and not BAD GUY

You are old guy, but is not mean you are BAD. GUY.

I only glanced, but a Burnout game beating Crono Trigger was another highlight, and not so much that God of War beat StarCraft, but that it was 90% to 10%? I guess it did say of all time, but you don't do apples-to-apples to a game that is twenty years newer
