okay I really tried but I can't think of anything beyond "seafoam green reminds me of bathrooms" and "apparently that's a condor not a chicken" maybe this page could be about other things. maybe. I guess. I'm open to suggestions.

You've been sitting with a chicken on a raft for one page

I make ends meet... just like any man. I work with my hands.

Stallone released a director's cut of Rocky IV and he inserted the only good scene from Rocky V ("Get up, you son of a bitch! 'Cause Mickey loves ya.") into the Drago fight
I feel like this is a good solution and we can now just discard Rocky V altogether

also apparently No Time to Die is doing really well, the best box office of the pandemic

people were saying it wouldn't because it had so many delays, but I never lost faith. Bond's car had machine guns in the headlights in the trailer, c'mon

and those darn kids finally got off my lawn!
all in all, a good weekend to be a prematurely middle-aged millennial

Slurpee

OH!
also, James Gunn is going to release the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special before vol 3, which immediately made the entire thing sound more interesting to me for some reason

I think I just feel like, that'll give him an opportunity to stretch his legs and rearrange the set pieces after End Game, so when we get to vol 3 he can just focus on making it a good movie

Slurpee

oh, and I guess Venom 2 ended with a reveal that Sony's bullshit Spider-Man Without Spider-Man extended universe is in the MCU now, because he sees Tom Holland on t.v.?

but to that I'm like
1) sure jan
2) even if it is true, that just sounds like... between that and Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx, and the Disney+ shows, and the like 4 MCU movies that came out or are coming out this year where they really seemed to be like wincing and rolling the dice as they released them, it kind of seems like we're entering the "hot mess" era of superhero movies where they're just unleashing a fearsome torrent of 3/4-baked doggerel and seeing what sticks (and, apparently the answer is "literally everything. everything is sticking) [img-endlesstrash.gif]

Same. I'd wait forever for Ana de Armas. :o

it's Lemmy!

That reminds me; they remastered "Hellraiser", a Motörhead song that Ozzy covered and in the remastered version it mixes both of their vocals and I fucking love it

RobClock

badass

Slurpee

after some googling, Lemmy co-wrote it, so it's kind of a "cover" in the same sense that Bowie's version of All the Young Dudes is a cover

except ofc Ozzy is way more famous than *squinting at screen* Mott the Hoople?

Slurpee

in fact... Lemmy basically co-wrote all the good songs on No More Tears, huh

except for No More Tears

but if you know that album and think of the four best songs besides the title track
you're probably not thinking of Mr. Tinkertrain and Zombie Stomp
unless you're a dumb clown

you're thinking of, Mama I'm Coming Home, Desire, Hellraiser, and I Don't Want to Change the World

Slurpee

that was a good album

how did it come out in 1991 though, what?

that's like The Blueprint and Stillmatic coming out in 2001, it just seems way too late

like, 1991 in rock sounds like Losing My Religion and 2001 in rap sounds like... God, I don't know, Ride Wit Me?
how are those also the years of Hellraiser and Ether how does time work
