I've had, not emails... but many calls... Not Verizon, mind you, but anti-piracy companies...They put you on a list, but if you tell them it's your neighbor sucking down your wifi, and that you don't know how to stop them, they'll believe you.

I'm not changing my habits here, or worried, just thought it was funny. File wasn't even seeded anymore at the point I got the e-mail. Worst that happens is I get sued, in which case they can have my nothing.

I've seriously never been caught doing anything illegal in my life, but that doesn't mean I'm not careful you know.

But yeah, if you are worried, don't use public trackers or buy a rapidshare account and use a rapidshare link distributation forum or something. For a year it's like €60 but if you were to buy the things you're downloading it'd be a lot more than that.

I will argue 'till I'm blue in the face that it's legal. No one has a problem with the fact that I put in a request at the library for Sweeney Todd, then a few weeks later they gave me a call, went and picked it up, and gee, being the industrious young lad I am, I ripped a copy of it while I had it in hand for free through a legal medium. Marvel makes no money if I buy a used copy, and I refuse to buy ANY DVD new, unless it's drastically reduced. Laws should not be enforced by the private sector. If you break a law, you're breaking a law. If there's no enforcement on the other 200 movies I'm seeding, released by smaller independent production companies, then fuck the cocksuckers that actually have money.

Besides, since I'm not seeding, prove it's illegal. I think right now I'll claim I bought it last week and it stopped working already. Prove that didn't happen.

Verizon can feel free to drop my service, they suck so fucking much. I was without internet all day today because their faulty installation got wet when it rained. And like I said, sue me. You can have my 'roids if you want.

Have you ever been to a bookstore? It's like $14.99 for a 200-page novel in paperback. There's too much culture out there to expect a person to just ignore it because they don't have money, and there's too much culture out there to expect anyone with a reasonable income to be able to afford it all.
