It is beyond me why you'd go so far to defend an empty and unused good clock name, but fine.

Because for every Clock that joins our ranks, another falls from the lines. Casualties in the ever-raging war against Internet liquidity. Their only memory is their works and if not that then their name, they have no grave nor funeral, but in the Morning and in the Evening, we shall remember them.

Think of it as "The Unknown Clocks Grave". A tribute to every Clock that has been and will be, because the day you die from our ranks, your name will forever be with us.

I was actually thinking of doing something Dutch, seeing as the Dutch have, apparently, such roots in the CC... Something to the extent of TileClock (delft's blauw) or ClogClock, TulipClock or something like that.

Though TulipClock might be too similar to RoseClock, which I bet is taken.

This is now the suggest untaken names for me topic, because I think most names I can think of will probably be taken or something.

I think the number one thing to take into consideration when picking a clockname is to not make a conscious effort to have a cool name. Just pick something that you think suits you. I know that's really bad advice, but it's all I can think of.

Oh, and it's also probably a good idea to make a thorough check as to whether or not your name is taken, as indicated by the rest of this thread.
