A new Xbox 360 since my current one decided it hated me and stopped reading disks and since its not 3 ring and I've had it over a year I have no warranty.

That's why I decided to go with Sony rather than Microsoft when I got a new PlayStation 3 for Xmas last year.
 
Sure, the PlayStation 3 might not get any expansions with games that the XBox 360 will get (Team Fortress 2 and Grand Theft Auto IV) but it's got blu-ray and they're very sturdy. I remember my old second-hand PlayStation 2. I didn't clean it for months, I used it all the time, and it still worked fine.
 
EDIT: I'm not really saving up to buy anything at the moment, but I did get Silent Hill: Homecoming from EB Games like two months ago. It's not as scary I thought it would be and the general gameplay is mediocre at best.
