Sometimes I forget how it works and I try to press it like an actual button and it's not a satisfying feeling.

I'd put this on top of my xbox if it wasn't for the fact that my xbox would melt that little thing :(

I wanna see details of it, you've gotta lose something on it.

No backwards compatibility, probably a smaller hard drive, probably no built in wifi...

Backwards compatability was lost a long time ago, and apparently they're not even considering putting it back in, which is stupid as hell because they could, with a firmware update, give the backwards-compatabilityless PS3's backwards compatability.
Also, the hard drive is actually larger.
As for the wifi, I have no idea.

I never got people complaining about backwards compatibility. How many people are seriously getting a PS3 yet not already owning a PS2?

Me.
Its a issue of not having to hook up  bunch of wires all the time if you want to play something not PS3.

This.  It would be a pain in the ass to, if I wanted to play one of my PS2 games, unhook my PS3 from the television, move it because I don't have enough space for both consoles, and all that stuff.  What's more is it's kind of an egg-on-your-face or whatever the fuck that nonsensical expression is.  Before, Sony issued a statement saying they would always have 100% backwards compatibility.  Yeah...
I'm glad I got a PS3 with backwards compatibility.  It's a really nice thing to have.  It's not so nice when you're my friend who never had a PS2 but has a PS3, but don't know it's the non-backwards compatible kind and it turns out your new copy of Resident Evil 4 doesn't play.

fucking christ

while I realise it's stupid thing to not include backwards compatibility complaining that you'd have to swap consoles over is fUCKING DUMB

there are these things called AV switchs that let you have all of your consoles hooked up at the same time and you can choose between each with the press of a button

I don't have space for two consoles.  When I borrowed my friend's Gamecube I had it perched precariously on the top of my CD rack.
