I understand it, I just get tired of the argument. Very few people I know are really gung-ho about abortion (though I do actually know a few people). But if you've ever had a pregnancy scare with your girlfriend, you realize just how nice it is to have the option of not having your life ruined.

I just hate arguing with people about it because I think their arguments are kind of sophomoric. My friend Kim from high school, "Matt, what if I was aborted." Well, then you wouldn't have just asked me that dumb fucking question. In a similar vein to gay marriage, as long as people aren't being forced to have their children aborted, then it really doesn't affect you, while it very much affects them.
