It didnt turn out the way I had hoped, original sketch was more angry but I tried to make it more sad... had to put in a slight blur to make it less rough.

Rough scetch for those player hatas who want source material :(

its drawn on a 8x5 CM post-it.

Your work is really good, i like the borrowed wings drawing its really sweet! I love the colours in it!

I've started skissing things, pardon the lack of quality but I've never had any serious art education (Read Natural Science in colleague) but I'm taking baby steps.

No photoshop filter just flash contrast/hue changing due to strange lightning etc. (They're drawn on 5x8 CM postits)
Gonna draw something more serious in my newly bought drawing-book later :D

Hahaha nah the fact that I haven't sketched human anatomy before so I am working on it on a larger scale than small postits, I've only had mathimatical papers at home so I was just sketching on postits/computer whenever I had an idea but now I've bought a real sketchbook so "I'm working on it"; It being larger and more challanging stuff.

Well it is not decided yet :o If none of those I'd prefer go with it HarmonyClock might duell me... that or I'll have to complete my collab part instead (God forbid.)

You're an especially talented individual, but I find your choice of subject matter a little immature at times, like the fallen angel trope and stuff like that. This particular thread shows a lot more diversity, though. For the last image, you should take into account that the blur will vary with distance from the focus point. So that white grass at the bottom of the image, which is closer to the viewer than the white grass near the middle, should be blurrier, and some of the black grass next to the man's feet should be as sharp as he is. This is quite hard to do if you're blurring with "soften fill edges", which is one of a few reasons why I prefer to draw blurring with transparent fills under the opaque one, or blending fills if you're going the digital painting, all-one-layer route.

Haha yeah I know that the internet is saturated with the likes of such but sadly that is the themes I enjoy the most to draw.

Thank you and indeed I know distance+blurring (abuse it alot in my animations) but the reason here was because if I didn't blur the gras it looked quite faul :(

But it's a work in progress I think, going to add another man in the background
Thank you for your feedback and advice though

It was hard for me to tell at first, but after seeing it shrunken in your signature, the difference is really apparent.

So I was having my after-party depression as I usually get and I was listening to Moby - Lift me up.
Repeating the lyric "Feeling so old..." over and over whilst feeling a strange affection to the line.

strangly if I use the smooth tool it looks much younger so I let it be because it looks more rough and oldie... 5-10 minutes in drunktime so I don't really know...
referance pic from National Geographic magazine-paper but it's not traced, I'm actually suprised it turned out so nice myself :o or perhaps I'm just unsober and delirious but rather ignorant and blissfull I guess...

The red on his beard seems more like a shadow of the pipe than light from it. It should take the form of the negative space around the pipe, rather than the pipe it's self. In addition, there are some problems with the angle of the source. It seems to be only shining on the middle part of his beard. Take into account that the light will radiate in all directions evenly for a light source like that. It would probably be shining more on the lower-right part of his beard, the edge of the right of his collar, and perhaps a little on his neck.
