Muse - The Resistance

[EnglishClock]

I just gave this thing a listen, and for the most part I think it's pretty fucking brilliant. Everything on the album from "unnatural selection" and onwards is where it really starts to pick up, mostly everything before that is very so-so, with the exception of "Resistance" which is really good.

What I don't like is that I feel Muse are kind of heading in to a more "pop" orientated direction, which stands out mostly on "Undisclosed desires", but hell if it isn't catchy.

My favourites have to be "Unnatural selection", "MK Ultra", "Resistance" and the three part symphony. Part 1 is the best bit I reckon but the other parts are really awesome too.

also the cover art is rad

I agree the cover is great, probably the best they've had so far. I personally like the second part of the symphony the most, but Unnatural Selection and Resistence are probably my favorite songs.

I like the little cello (I think?) bit at the end of I Belong to You.
