That's one of my most favourite movies! Why didn't Frank Oz ever direct anything else with that much style?

As for other great concept movies, I'm going to add Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. That wasn't posted yet, was it?

he didnt ddirect much at all but he did yoda on starwars and he also was in the dark crystal as most of teh puppets infact he was in almost all of jim hensons productions

Donny Darco, not "Oh I love how I don't understand anything and theres deep music" but in the sense that it did strange and unexplainable things whereas nowdays every godamn movie must follow a textbook; story, explanation, ending. Preferly some bad romance aswell.

I didn't know if I had to explain it but I guess so;
The thing is, it's a war/tragedy movie that is not tragic in the sense that it does not try to be. Whereas in other movies you have sad music or overreaction towards things to highlight their point (Inglorius basterds where they call the nazis mass murderes even though they're operating during a time noone knew the nazis had done genocide.)

The concept of a movie that lets the beholder choose what they see, showing reality as it is and no bias middlehand addition.

Waltz With Bashir: Mixing dreams with stranger than life nonfiction. Concept of making something more than a documentary (and not in the humerous way that Michel Moore does it nor the overlly dramatic "Why we fight")

I really hated that twist in Hancock. It could have been such a good movie, but they had to throw that in. I don't even remember the details of it, it was so I'm a edgy teen. Something about gods or angels, I think.
