I was reading an article about this in Stars and Stripes,and the people who gave it to Obama said he made great strides in bridging the gap between the West and the Muslim world.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what has Obama done about the middle east that's different from Bush?  If anything, saying he "bridged the gap between the west and muslims" simply because he's in office makes it sound a lot like Obama's a Muslim.

He had his speech when he basically apologized for the USA being a tosser for the last 8 years and believe it or not that does alot.

He also diffused the whole Cold War tension that was going on inbetween russia, stopping the whole missle shield idiocy.
