first of I hate to be the cadillac but you need to be set straight, i've played a shitloads of xbox games and i dare you to find an overall better shooter with more replayability. I loved gears of war 1/2 but they're not that special in terms of gameplay; I could run headfirst into just about any fight and chainsaw the shit out of everything. In halo3 with all skulls enabled and highest difficulty me and my army friend had the biggest fucking blast of taking shit seriously and acting togheter like a real team.

consoles don't have the same potentiall as PC shooters and if you think COD4 is a console shooter or a good shooter you're a fucking EA tool

CoD 4 is the best shooter ever made. Halo 3 is overrated. I have CoD 4, Halo 3 and Gears of War 2. CoD 4 is definitely the best.

I'm not a big fan of first person shooters but I definitely enjoy Call of Duty 4 more than most of them. There's something about it that makes it feel less detached than most shooty games. Most of them make me feel like I'm a camera man in a floating glass box with a gun on the front but Call of Duty feels like I'm actually running around and getting blown about and stuff.

I liked Gears of War more though because I like being able to see my guy.

Oh man that menu is brilliant. Say what you like about Brutal Legend but you can't deny that they've done a great job of being unique and not following all the trends of modern video games. The menu is a great example.
