I just finished it and it was very very good. Bravo Double Fine.

Yeah, I finished it a few days ago. The main story is short, but I really liked it. It's also really fun to just go around and explore to find the bound serpents and stuff.

Also: Laser panther=most awesome summon creature.

Yeah it wasn't a huge story line but it was nice and tidy and didn't feel like it ended suddenly. I would have liked a bit more information about Eddie's parents in the future and maybe something more final at the end of the story but then you wouldn't be able to run around in the sandbox and do the side missions afterwards.

Still it was a nice change from most games where the plot is all rambling and unstructured. Shows that you can get away with not that great gameplay if the story engages you good enough.

Most of the character animation was way better than most games too. There were a few inevitable bits of weirdly timed floaty stuff that always seems to crop up in games for some reason, but most of the time the characters were really expressive and likable.
