What exactly don't you like?

I dont like how you merged forums together. I liked the Food forum by itself. I dont like how short the page seems now. I dont know where the Green Door went. I am also confused why you are now an administrator. No offense but you are not the most active fellow. Oh and I also don't like how you made these executive decisions when most of the forum was against it.

but greendoor is nice, and give the babies what they want in the form of sub forums such as music, food and penisloving if its so damned important to them

If you're not going to bother with the benefit of subforums, why not put music-related topics into music and art related topics into art.

I realize you've been away for a year or two but the topic of Art being for our art and art discussion has come up quite a few times.

Pushing photography, music, and created art into a single forum is just asinine. Creating a vague guise of activity by pushing everything into one forum does not nor will it create legitimate activity.

Sub-forums are a bit of a touchy subject, since some people bother to click them, others don't. If it was all down to me, I wouldn't have used sub-forums in the first place; a much better system should have been made.

I really do believe photography and visual arts do belong in the same forum. We just don't have many people do photography, thus, many people here don't bother clicking the photography forum. I don't see at all, how this creates a "vague guise" of activity, considering that the people that do bother with Photography will get more views and feedback on their work.

As for music creation belonging to the Arts vs Jukebox, I see your point, and have done as so.

So the other admins are more active than I currently am? I'm trying not to go against the majority's opinions; and it's hard keeping most of you satisfied as there's often opposing points on how the forum should work/look; thus what I'm changing might not be permanent depending on your guy's feedback.

As I mentioned, all the changes that are happening are not permanent. It's up to you guys to voice your opinions, and I'm here to listen and act upon them. I just find it that it's necessary for a little change to happen at this moment.





What will be ultimately done, is that like now, we'll have a few forums, but within them, the threads will have some sort of tagging depending on what the topic is.

Rough Example in the Arts Forum:

[Topic]----[Subject]---------[User]----------[Posts]-[Views]
[Photo]----[Wide Angle!]-----[StrawberryClock]----[10]-[100]
[Sketch]---[Quick Doodles]---[Olskoo]-------------[15]-[149]

Each forum would have 2-4 topics (more or less) and upon accessing, the user could filter out certain topics he/she wishes to see, without the need of having subforums.

I'm mostly the one that's doing all the work. Although it won't be overnight as I'm generally busy with real life, I really don't mind. I haven't been active in a while, so I might as well make the most of it.

we didn't have to many forums.
were a community that should be able to talk about anything in there respected forums no matter what kind of group this is whether its flash, art or music we should support our old forums and the threads that were in those forums.

I agree with the previous posts. I don't like these changes because it makes forums too generalized. As Cadillac said, making subforums would be much more appropriated. Not to mention the Green Door is gone.
