Pretty damn good actually! but the vocal sample in the beat slightly overpowers the vocals though, makes it hard to hear what they are saying clearly.

buttplug

jesus christ thats motherfucking sick

how did you learn to do stuff like this? I always wanted to but I don't know anything about it or where to start.

you're quite right, i'll try to tone down the vocal sample a bit.

well, i've never used anything but software which kind of sucks considering software is worse in some aspects. i got FL Studio like a year and a half to two years ago and fucked around in it until i eventually got better. just takes some practice.

Kaijuclock

You did this in FL? Sounded like Tracktor or Virtual DJ to me, thought it was a live mix.

splatter

haha yeah, FL is all i ever use
<-       ->

Kaijuclock

If you are that good in FL maybe you should step it up to Reason or Cubase, Harder to use but you get a more pro sound.

splatter

i dunno, gir. people give FL a bad rap but i really think if used correctly it can be just as good as reason or cubase. FL 9 is a pretty decent program.

Havent upgraded i guess, im stil on 8. And i think reason is probably the best music program out there, It really cuts through the red tape of most software limitations.

No need to be a dick.

My brother who is also a musician had some critique for you, he feels the vocals are a little off from the beat, like they pause for a split second too much. He generally didnt like the style you used but was quite impressed with your efforts.

He's picky and emo.

hm, finding out the tempo of an acapella that wasn't made for your beat and placing it correctly is actually incredibly hard to do perfectly so i understand why the vocals would feel a bit off,, maybe ill open up the file again sometime and spend some time perfecting it but i probably won't because doing things quickly is the only way i do things

Yeah, I know, I just like being a prick about it. All in jest, though!

Noooooo that's the swing! That slightest mismatch of frequency is what makes it interesting.

Every guy wants to be his  friend and every girl wants to date him. Understandably Slurpee is not a  very happy person.
